WHO are our customers?

Lono Earth Alternative Fuel aims to serve individuals and companies who operate a diesel vehicle. These drivers are our primary customers as they are the ones that can easily switch to burning biodiesel or even straight oil.  Most people don’t realize how easy it is to switch from diesel to biodiesel, or even SVO. Any diesel driver can instantly switch to our B-100 biodiesel product without any modifications to their vehicle. This should be extremely attractive to major trucking companies, especially if our product is cheaper than conventional diesel fuel.

Initially, the profit part of the company will mostly focus on these customers. As we collect biodiesel customers, I am certain that we can easily work with several companies to do the minor modifications on their vehicle it takes to run on SVO. Running a vehicle on SVO sounds radical to the mainstream culture, however this is a huge misconception. Anyone with a diesel vehicle can easily convert their vehicle to run on SVO for under $2000 in parts and about a half days work. In fact, some very reputable Ohio based companies are doing this now with their everyday delivery trucks. Whole Foods in Columbus, OH and Great Lakes Brewing Company in Cleveland, OH both have functioning delivery vehicles that they fuel using WVO from their kitchens. This closed loop sustainability operation is what every company should be aiming for. LEAF hopes to get Eartha Ltd. and others in the Whittier Peninsula on SVO as soon as we get our system up and running.

Lono Earth Alternative Fuel wants to eventually reach out to anyone who uses an engine. We aim to get the masses to trade their conventional gas-powered cars for a diesel or SVO burning vehicle. There is an already established market of unleaded fuel consumers out there. After becoming established as a company, we hope to market to unleaded drivers and prove to them that their next vehicle should be a diesel. That way, we take an established profit stream and divert it. We understand that not every driver may have an interest in curbing global warming and being more self-reliant, but we do believe that many Americans out there are struggling financially and may be interested in proactive way to save money.
